CITB – Construction Industry Trade Board
National Construction Training Services is pleased to announce that we are a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
- This means that we are recognised by the CITB and the British construction industry for delivering good quality training that meets industry approved standards.
- We are part of CITB’s automated grant payments system, making it easier for employers to book courses with us for their workers and be reimbursed for it.
FTMRC – Federation of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors
One of the principal objectives of the Federation of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors is to improve the workmanship standards of installation and widen the technical design knowledge necessary to protect the integrity of the installation. The revival in the use of copper, zinc, stainless steel and galvanised mild steel in the fully supported metal roofing sector over the last 20 years has highlighted a shortage of skilled installers and the gap in formalising up to date codes of practice suited to modern construction requirements within the United Kingdom.
LCA – Lead Contractors Association
The Lead Contractors Association was formed in 1984 to promote and protect quality standards in working with lead sheet. Members of the Lead Contractors Association (LCA) are all specialist leadworkers. They have skills in other areas, with many offering services in copper, zinc, stainless steel, slating, tiling, etc. – but they are all firstly specialists in leadwork.
